The Story Of 1, 0 And -1

I got thrown a question today - - "Human invented '0' or '1' first?"

Got my mind boggling after that!!

Friend: "Hmm.. I got 1 simple thing that keep on in my mind. 1 question thrown to me by my Architect. Human invented '0' or '1' first?"

Me : "Errrrrrrrrr........................................"

So here's his answer :

"I also donno. According to him, human invented 1 first".

Why ah?

"Long long time ago, human didn't know how to count. They learn to count.. And so smart that, to have something, it must be start in 1. If not therefore nothing. Early human when nothing, they didn't bother. It's nothing wat. Then they learn about 2 3 4, made of multiple 1.

After long time only get the 0. When ppl more familiar with the counting (primitive math.. that time), 1 of the genius or at least 1 genius playing with number,

is 2 sticks
is 3 sticks

_ and is 1 stick
Therefore, _ is no stick >> it's 0.

The genius is so proud.. That he finally solved the mystery of Zero. Conclusion, human always pandai pandai. Didn't learn to walk already start to run".

Just when I thought, "Pwoarhh.. We now know the answer" and change topic, he asked again, "And how the -1 story started?"

"After generation of playing with normal physical number (0 - N), 1 of the genius at least (group genius) too free, start to revise the math mystery (too free until revise).

The genius must be gila thinking of that. Then the genius so smart.. And obviously, there's no actual answer for negative. Bcos of deadline and pressure, he started to look left and right. Bcos if he couldn't solve it, meaning don't have such thing lohh.. So he look left right left right. He open his right hand.. With 1 stick. But his left hand with no stick. In the middle (his head).

So he made a remarkable reasoning, if my right hand with 1 stick, and my left hand has no stick. Therefore, I got 1 stick (this is how the genius talking). The right side is always the RIGHT and correct choice. Assume the left is nothing and not obvious (modern day virtual). What will happen if I put 1 stick to the not obvious left hand (virtual)? Ppl say "it will be 1 stick on your not obvious hand!".

Genius : EXACTLY. Therefore we got the NOT EXIST 1 ! (modern day negative 1)

He made his name with the -1 concept and revolutionized the human thinking that left is bad, right is good".

Me : "This genius so smart ah.. What's his name ar?"

Friend : "I forgot.. I think the first person who discovered negative is ancient Chinese. The Indian discovered Zero. So that's how the Negative came into this world.."

Friend : "And rite now.. I will tell u why the Architect so like the Negative".
